137:1 | By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. |
137:2 | We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. |
137:3 | For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. |
137:4 | How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land? |
137:5 | If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. |
137:6 | If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. |
137:7 | Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof. |
137:8 | O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. |
137:9 | Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones. |
137:9 | 拿你的嬰孩摔在磐石上的、那人便為有福。 |
137:9 | 拿你的婴孩摔在磐石上的,那人便为有福。 |
2ki:8:12 | And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child. |
isa:13:16 | Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. |
hos:10:14 | Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children. |
nah:3:10 | Yet was she carried away, she went into captivity: her young children also were dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets: and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains. |
