Galatians : The Letter of Paul to the Galatians
Chapter 1 2 3 4 5 6
1:1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
1:2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
1:3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
1:4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
1:5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1:6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
1:7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
1:8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
1:9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
1:10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
1:11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
1:12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1:13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
1:14And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
1:14我又在猶太教中、比我本國許多同歲的人更有長進、為我祖宗的遺傳更加熱心。
1:14我又在犹太教中,比我本国许多同岁的人更有长进,为我祖宗的遗传更加热心。
jer:9:14But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
2ti:1:3I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
mat:15:2Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
mat:15:3But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
mat:15:4For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
mat:15:5But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
mat:15:6And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
mak:7:3For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
mak:7:4And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
mak:7:5Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
mak:7:6He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
mak:7:7Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
mak:7:8For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
mak:7:9And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
mak:7:10For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
mak:7:11But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
mak:7:12And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
mak:7:13Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
col:2:8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
act:21:20And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:
act:22:3I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
rom:10:2For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
phl:3:6Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
COBL
1:15But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
1:16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
1:17Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
1:18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
1:19But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
1:20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
1:21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
1:22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
1:23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
1:24And they glorified God in me.
