Thessalonians-2 : The Second Letter of Paul to the Thessalonians
Chapter 1 2 3
1:1Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
1:2Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:3We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
1:4So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
1:5Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
1:6Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
1:7And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
1:8In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1:9Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
1:9他們要受刑罰、就是永遠沉淪、離開主的面和他權能的榮光.
1:9他们要受刑罚,就是永远沉沦,离开主的面和他权能的荣光。
1ts:5:9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
jud:1:4For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
phl:3:19Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
2pe:3:7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
jhn:1:14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
2ts:2:8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
COBL
1:10When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
1:11Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
1:12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
