Galatians : The Letter of Paul to the Galatians
Chapter 1 2 3 4 5 6
4:1Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
4:2But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
4:3Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
4:4But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
4:4及至時候滿足、 神就差遣他的兒子、為女子所生、且生在律法以下、
4:4及至时候满足,神就差遣他的儿子,为女人所生,且生在律法以下,
mak:1:15And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
eph:1:10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
act:13:33God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
rom:1:3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
gen:3:15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
isa:7:14Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
mat:1:23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
mat:5:17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
mat:5:18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
luk:2:22And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
luk:2:23(As it is written in the law of the LORD, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)
luk:2:24And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.
luk:2:27And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

4:5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
4:6And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
4:7Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
4:8Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
4:9But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
4:10Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
4:11I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
4:12Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
4:13Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
4:14And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
4:15Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
4:16Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
4:17They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
4:18But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.
4:19My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
4:20I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
4:21Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
4:22For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
4:23But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
4:24Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
4:25For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
4:26But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
4:27For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
4:28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
4:29But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
4:30Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
4:31So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
