3:1Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
3:2Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
3:3Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
3:4And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
3:5Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
3:6Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
3:7But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
3:8How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
3:9For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
3:10For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
3:11For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
3:12Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
3:13And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
3:14But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
3:15But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
3:16Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
3:17Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
3:18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
3:18我們眾人既然敞著臉、得以看見主的榮光、好像從鏡子裡返照、就變成主的形狀、榮上加榮、如同從主的靈變成的。
3:18我们众人既然倘着脸,得以看见主的荣光,好像从镜子里反照,就变成主的形状,荣上加荣,如同从主的灵变成的。
jhn:1:14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
2co:3:7But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
2co:4:4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2co:4:6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2pe:1:17For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
1co:13:12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
1co:15:49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
col:3:10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
psm:84:7They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
